Do you come from The Pacific and want to lead? Through the main Scholarship, you could go to the One Young World Summit 2023 from October 2 to October 5 in Belfast.
The Leading The Pacific Scholarship is an effort to make sure that the One Young World Summit 2023 in Beflast, UK, has a good group of young people from the Pacific area.
Environmental problems are the most important in the whole Pacific region. Locally, people are having trouble with trash management, cutting down trees, overfishing, and the effects of nuclear testing. Many of the Pacific Islands will soon be unlivable because of these dangers, but these areas don’t get much attention in the news. Leaders have had a hard time putting these different islands together, but societies in the Pacific have done well in their remote locations and could work together to bring about change in the area.
Young leaders are coming up with good plans to make the area more sustainable in the face of these problems. Are you a leader like them? If that’s the case, One Young World wants to invite you to the next yearly Summit.
